I've Got the Blues

Back when I was struggling with learning some more advanced western swing chords I remember putting this chord progression together and thinking" That would be a cool song. I'll have to write that someday.

I never came up with anything as creative as Johnny Mercer or Cole Porter but I wrote some lyrics about being sad. Once I got it done I thought "This would sound so awesome if Mollie O'Brien sang it." I was so happy when she said she would. Mollie is fantastic, and definitely made this song better with her creativity and vocal might.
