"The Martin Gilmore Trio" - The Songs

Over the next couple of weeks I thought I would post a bit about each one of the songs on my new record "The Martin Gilmore Trio". It is a collection of original and traditional music that myself, Nick Amodeo, and Ian Haegele have been playing over the last few years.

Some of the songs have stories about their origin, or the writing process. Some are tunes I learned from someone, or that I compiled over the years. We didn't have a lot of space to include that information in the liner notes on the record, so I thought I would put it here on this blog for those who might be interested.

I will just go down the track list and post one each day of the week along with the lyrics.

I'm looking forward to sharing them with you.
